Access modes
You decide who charges, and when
Make your charger available to EV drivers — from your home driveway or across your commercial locations. Each charger runs in exactly one access mode, and you can switch at any time.
Instant access
Drivers can charge or reserve without asking you first — maximum utilisation, zero admin.
Your approval
Every request waits for your yes before payment is secured and charging starts. Good for home driveways and shared premises.
Reservation only
No spontaneous arrivals — only booked slots. Predictable for sites you share with your own car.
Offline
Pause hosting whenever you want — holidays, maintenance, or a busy week. Your listing, history, and settings are preserved.
Sessions
Reservations and sessions, without the admin
- 1
Drivers find and book
Your charger appears on the marketplace map — drivers charge now or reserve a slot under the access mode you chose.
- 2
Payment is secured first
No session starts before payment is secured — no invoicing, no chasing payment, no cash at the door.
- 3
Your calendar stays yours
Upcoming reservations and live sessions in one view — and you can block time for your own car whenever you need it.
Earnings
Payouts and statements, built in
The money side is part of the platform, not an afterthought — traceable line by line, from a live session to a settled payout.
You keep 85% by default
You set the price per kWh and keep 85% of charging revenue under default terms. Every settled session shows the exact split applied. See pricing.
Payouts to your bank
Earnings are paid out to your bank account on a schedule. Each payout lists exactly which sessions it contains, so reconciling against your bank statement is line-by-line simple.
Accountant-grade statements
Monthly statements cover gross revenue, kWh delivered, fees, refunds, and net earnings — designed to be handed straight to a bookkeeper, with CSV exports included.

Connect your charger
Works with smart chargers — and basic ones
Connecting is a guided flow: answer plain questions about your charger’s brand and model, and Slotwatt takes it from there.
Smart chargers
ConnectedIf your charger supports it, you get live status on the map, remote start tied to secured payment, exact metered kWh billing, and fault alerts — the full connected experience.
Basic chargers
CalendarA charger with no connectivity still earns: full marketplace listing, reservations and calendar, secured payments before use, payouts, and statements. What it can’t do — live status, remote start, metered billing — is simply and honestly not promised.
For the technically curious
Slotwatt connects chargers either directly over open charging standards (OCPP) or through the manufacturer’s own cloud. You never have to configure either — the guided flow picks the right path for your charger.
